Description

This Waldorf Salad is a delightful mix of fresh apples, juicy grapes, and crunchy pecans, all brought together with a creamy dressing. Perfect for a quick meal or a side salad that impresses!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Apples, Diced
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Celery (Diced)
  • 1 cup Grapes (Halved)
  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves (Roughly Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (Whipped)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with sugar and lemon juice, tossing them to coat.
  2. Stir in the diced celery, halved grapes, and roughly chopped pecans.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until peaks form and then gently fold in the mayonnaise until combined.
  4. Incorporate the apple mixture into the cream mixture, season with salt, and adjust according to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight to enhance flavors.

Notes

For added sweetness, consider using honey instead of sugar.
The salad can be made a day ahead for better flavor fusion.
Feel free to substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
