  • 2 tsp. cooking oil
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  • Rinse and pat the corned beef dry with a paper towel.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil to coat the bottom.
  • Brown the corned beef on all sides in the hot oil.
  • Transfer the browned corned beef to the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, yellow mustard, black pepper, and minced garlic.
