Description

These Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine are an irresistible blend of buttery marshmallows and crunchy cereal, topped with a delightful drizzle of white chocolate. Perfect for sharing or enjoying on your own, they bring a sweet touch to any occasion with their simple preparation and festive sprinkles!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter, then add marshmallows and lower the heat.
  • Stir constantly until melted, preventing sticking.
  • Remove from heat and pour in Rice Krispies, stirring quickly until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the pan and press evenly (you can butter your hands or use parchment paper to prevent sticking).
  • Cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes and then cut into desired pieces.
  • Melt white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler, adding food coloring for desired tint.
  • Allow cooling slightly before transferring to a piping bag; then drizzle over the treats and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Use fresh mini marshmallows for best results.
You can customize the color of the white chocolate for different occasions.
Store in an airtight container to keep treats fresh.
