- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the flour and salt; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, just until the edges begin to turn lightly golden.
Notes
For a sweeter flavor, use ripe peaches.
Add a scoop of ice cream on top for extra indulgence.
