This peach cobbler features fresh peaches and a simple buttery batter, creating a delightful dessert that’s perfect for gatherings or weeknight treats.

- 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray and preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
- Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture into the pan over the butter, avoiding any stirring.
- Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, including some juice. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Bake in the oven for 38–42 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly around the edges.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Using ripe peaches enhances flavor. You can substitute frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a decadent treat.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
