Description

  • 12 medium potatoes
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and place them in a large crockpot with skin on.
  2. Add whole garlic cloves and chicken broth to the crockpot.
  3. Select high and cook for 3-4 hours or low for 4-5 hours until fork tender.
  4. Stir in sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher while mixing in the butter and seasonings.
  5. Pour in milk and stir until the mashed potatoes reach the desired consistency. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
