Ingredients

  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Carefully cut through the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise with kitchen shears, stopping just before the tail fin.
  • Gently pry the lobster meat upward while keeping it attached at the base, resting it atop the split shell. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to foam. Whisk in garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning butter over the tops as they cook.
  • Flip the tails and finish cooking shell-side down for another 1 to 2 minutes, until the meat is firm and bounces back when touched.
  • Squeeze lemon wedges directly over the lobster tails while in the pan.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh lobster tails.
Adjust seasoning according to taste preference.
