Description

This Honey-Lime Margarita-ish Mocktail is a delightful blend of sweet honey, tangy lime, and refreshing tonic water, enhanced with a spicy jalapeno kick. It’s simple to make and perfect for any gathering or a quiet evening at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • juice from one lime (plus one slice for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 6 ounces tonic water
  • 23 slices of jalapeno
  • a dash of sea salt flakes
  • 3/4 to 1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Begin by pouring the raw honey into a 14-ounce glass and mix it with 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water until it dissolves completely.
  2. Add the fresh lime juice to the honey mixture and stir well.
  3. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in about 6 ounces of tonic water over the ice.
  4. Add 2 to 3 slices of jalapeno for a spicy touch, then give the drink a gentle stir.
  5. Finish by adding a sprinkling of sea salt flakes on top, and garnish with a slice of lime.

Notes

Adjust jalapeno slices to taste for desired spiciness.
For a sweeter drink, add more honey to the mixture.
Serve immediately for the best flavor experience.
