Description

Homemade Shamrock Shakes combine irresistible mint flavor with creamed vanilla ice cream for a quick, refreshing treat. Perfect for warm days or a festive celebration!


Ingredients

  • 3 c. vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mint extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 9 drops green food coloring
  • whipped cream, cherries, and fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the ice cream, milk, extracts, and food coloring in the blender.
  • Blend until thick and creamy, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into 2 tall glasses and top with whipped cream, cherries, and mint.

Notes

Adjust the mint extract based on your preference for mint flavor.
You can use any type of milk based on dietary needs.
For a thicker version, add extra ice cream.
