Description

These Healthy Apple Oatmeal Muffins (One Bowl) are not only packed with flavor but also incredibly simple to prepare. Using wholesome ingredients like oats and applesauce, they make a delightful breakfast or snack option for health-conscious individuals seeking easy homemade recipes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened cinnamon applesauce
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats (250 grams)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apple (235 grams)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with silicone muffin liners, greasing if necessary.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the wet ingredients: applesauce, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Add the dry ingredients: oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt. Stir to combine and then fold in the diced apples.
  4. Fill 10 muffin tins with the batter using a large cookie scoop. Bake for 25-28 minutes until golden brown on top.
  5. Allow to cool slightly, sprinkle with cinnamon if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Use silicone or greased nonstick liners for best results; avoid paper liners as they may stick.
Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon or add nuts for extra flavor and texture.
