Ingredients
Scale
- ⅓ cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl or a freezer bag. Add the chicken and toss to coat well.
- Seal the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the used marinade.
- Place the chicken on the grill. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, then flip and cook for another 7 to 8 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Marinating the chicken for longer enhances its flavor and tenderness.
Always use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Letting the chicken rest before slicing helps retain its juices.
