Description

This Frozen Berry Margarita combines the luscious flavors of mixed berries with the vibrant notes of tequila and citrus. Simple to prepare, it makes for a perfect party drink or a delightful refreshment for sunny afternoons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
  • 4 oz silver tequila or white tequila
  • 4 oz triple sec
  • juice of ½ lime plus more for rimming the glass
  • ¼ maple syrup
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • sugar for the rim
  • ¼ cup club soda
  • lime wheels and mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the edge of the glass and dip it into sugar to rim it. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine frozen berries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more syrup if desired. If it's too thick, add a splash of club soda.
  4. Pour the mixture into the rimmed glass, top with club soda if you like, and garnish with lime wheels and mint leaves.

Notes

You can substitute honey for maple syrup if preferred.
Add more sugar to taste if you like a sweeter drink.
Adjust the amount of crushed ice based on your texture preference.
