Description

This Easy Honey Glaze for Ham is a must-try for its mouthwatering flavor and simple preparation. With sweet honey, brown sugar, and aromatic spices, it’s perfect for any special occasion or family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Stir while bringing to a rapid boil for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the glaze cool for a few minutes.
  3. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the ham about 20 minutes before it finishes cooking.
  4. Return the ham to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the glaze gets crispy and the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.

Notes

Ensure to stir the mixture continuously while boiling to prevent burning.
Allow the glaze to cool slightly before applying it to the ham for better adherence.
Store leftover glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
