Description

This Easy Guacamole is a must-try for its delightful flavor and simplicity. Made with fresh avocados, zesty lime, and a blend of spices, it’s perfect for tacos, chips, or as a tasty addition to any meal, ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium avocados
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced

Instructions

  1. Cut open avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Gently mash the avocado with a potato masher or fork, keeping it slightly chunky.
  3. Stir in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon lime juice.
  4. For a smoother guacamole, combine spices as you mash. For a chunkier version, fold the spices in with a rubber spatula.
  5. Add cilantro and diced tomatoes, stirring until everything is well mixed.
  6. Taste the guacamole and adjust with additional salt or lime juice if desired.
  7. Let the guacamole sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. For longer storage, place in the fridge covered tightly, adding a pit and a splash of lime juice to prevent browning.
  9. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

Fresh cilantro adds a burst of flavor, but can be omitted if you prefer a simpler taste.
To prevent browning, always cover the guacamole tightly with plastic wrap when storing.
If serving later, make sure it’s at room temperature for the best flavor.
