- ½ tablespoon maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice

Instructions
- In a bowl or mason jar, mix together chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using). Shake in a mason jar for easier mixing.
- Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes, then stir or shake again to break up any clumps.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or overnight until thickened. If it's not thick enough, stir in an additional tablespoon of chia seeds and chill for another 30 minutes.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
