- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9×9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, 2 1/2 tbsp flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, quick oats, and cubed cold butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to mix until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the blueberry mixture in the pan.
- Bake the crisp in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
