Description

This Easy Blueberry Crisp combines juicy blueberries with a crunchy topping, creating a delicious dessert that is simple to make and always satisfying. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9×9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, 2 1/2 tbsp flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, quick oats, and cubed cold butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to mix until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the blueberry mixture in the pan.
  4. Bake the crisp in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
