Description
This creamy hot honey hummus is irresistibly flavorful and incredibly easy to prepare. Made with chickpeas, garlic, and a touch of hot honey, it’s a delightful dip or spread that’s perfect for healthy snacks or as a zesty appetizer at any gathering.
Ingredients

- 2 (14 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ⅔ cup tahini
- ¼ cup hot honey, plus more for drizzling
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ to ½ cup ice water
- olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Reserve a few chickpeas to sprinkle on top of the hummus later.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, hot honey, lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Blend and pulse for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping down the sides every 30 seconds until fully blended.
- While processing, stream in the ice water until the mixture is super smooth and creamy. Adjust salt and pepper as needed and blend again if necessary.
- Spread hummus into a bowl or onto a plate. Top with reserved chickpeas, drizzle olive oil and additional hot honey, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper.
