- ¼ teaspoon pepper, plus more to season chicken
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped, plus more for garnish
- ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in a large baking dish and generously season them with salt, pepper, and italian seasoning.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Gently fold in the halved cherry tomatoes until everything is well combined.
- Spread the cream mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they're fully covered.
- Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center, adjusting the time based on thickness.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and broil for 4-5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Before serving, garnish with additional fresh basil.
