This Chicken Parmesan Casserole combines tender rotisserie chicken, zesty marinara, and a melty cheese layer for an easy and satisfying meal. It’s ideal for quick dinners when you’re craving comfort food without fuss!

- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cups chicken cooked and shredded
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese shredded, divided
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated, divided
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 Tablespoons butter melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the rotini pasta as per package instructions, then drain it and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, shredded chicken, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Stir until combined.
- Spread the pasta mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top of the mixture.
- In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, and salt. Evenly sprinkle this mixture on top of the cheese layer.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Take it out of the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For a spicier twist, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
You can substitute the rotini pasta with any preferred pasta shape.
