- 1 teaspoon rosemary, minced
- 3 tablespoons gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Thaw the puff pastry sheet by placing it on the countertop for about 40 minutes.
- Prepare a small baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the puff pastry on top.
- Position the brie wheel in the center of the pastry, then add the honey, fig jam, minced rosemary, and gorgonzola cheese on top.
- Gently fold the four corners of the pastry over the filling to enclose it.
- Brush with water as needed to help the pastry stick together, then fold the corners in once more to secure the brie.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together, and brush the mixture over the outside of the pastry.
- Bake for 20-24 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and shiny.
- Remove from the oven and transfer the Baked Brie to a serving platter. Serve warm with crackers, baguettes, or fruit.
Notes
Ensure the puff pastry is well-thawed before working with it to prevent cracking.
Experiment with different toppings like nuts or fresh herbs for added flavor.
