Description

Baked Chicken Tostadas bring irresistible flavors in a quick, easy-to-make dish. With shredded chicken, refried beans, and cheesy goodness, they are ideal for a simple weeknight dinner or a fun gathering.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1½ cups refried beans
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 8 ounces shredded lettuce
  • pico de gallo
  • Lime juice
  • sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400˚F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, salsa, and taco seasoning until well combined. In a separate small bowl, whisk the sour cream and lime juice together.
  3. Lay the tostada shells on a baking sheet. Spread the refried beans over each shell, followed by the cheddar cheese and the seasoned chicken mixture. Add extra cheese on top if desired.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and the chicken is heated through.
  5. Once baked, top with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and drizzle with the lime sour cream. Serve right away and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add more vegetables like diced bell peppers or olives for added flavor and nutrition.
For a spicy kick, consider adding jalapeños on top before serving.
These tostadas are best served fresh but can be prepped in advance—just bake them before serving.
