These Apple Dumplings with Crescent Rolls are a delightful treat that combine sweet, tender apples wrapped in buttery crescent rolls. Perfect for a quick dessert that everyone will love!

- 2 cans (10 oz) pillsbury refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 granny smith apples
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 oz mountain dew
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Peel, core, and cut apples into slices. You should get 8 slices per apple.
- Place an apple slice in each Crescent Roll triangle, starting at the wide end. Roll to the end, wrapping the narrow tip around to secure it. Place in the sprayed pan.
- Repeat the process until all 16 Crescent Roll triangles are filled with apple slices and in the pan.
- Combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan over low heat until mixed well.
- Pour the butter mixture over the entire pan of dumplings, distributing evenly.
- Pour Mountain Dew over the dumplings in the pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately for the best taste!
Notes
You can use any type of apple, but Granny Smith offers a nice tartness.
For extra flavor, sprinkle some nuts on top before baking.
These dumplings are best enjoyed fresh from the oven.
