Description

This easy apple crisp combines fresh apples, buttery oatmeal cookie mix, and warm spices for an unbeatable comfort dessert. Perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in, it’s simple to prepare and delivers a homemade taste everyone loves.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Apples, Sliced
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Cold Butter, Cubed
  • 1 (17.5 oz) pouch Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, core, peel, and slice the apples. Toss them with white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the cold cubed butter into the apple mixture and toss to combine.
  4. Transfer the apple mixture into the prepared pan evenly.
  5. In the same bowl, mix the oatmeal cookie mix with melted butter until the texture is crumbly. Spread this mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the topping.
