Description

Air Fryer Salmon Bites are a delightful, quick meal featuring tender salmon seasoned with spices. Perfect for a healthy dinner or a tasty appetizer, these bites are easy to prepare and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • Chili crisp oil (optional) for drizzling
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional) for garnish
  • Sliced green onion (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the salmon pieces. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the salmon and gently toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer. Drizzle with chili crisp oil, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions, and over rice if desired.

Ensure the salmon is cut into uniform bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
