Description
These Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts are a delightful blend of sweet apple cider and a cinnamon sugar coating. They’re quick to prepare, made with flaky biscuits, and perfect for a cozy treat any time of day!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
- 1 cup apple cider
Instructions
- Line a tray with parchment paper or set out a wire rack for the finished donuts.
- Whisk together the sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl and set aside for later.
- Simmer the apple cider in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until it reduces slightly, then set it aside to enhance the flavor.
- Separate the biscuits from the can and use a small round object to punch out the centers, forming donuts.
- Prepare the air fryer basket by lining it with a parchment round or lightly spraying it with oil.
- Place four donuts in the air fryer, ensuring they do not touch. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Transfer the hot donuts to the prepared tray or wire rack and repeat with the remaining dough.
- While warm, brush each donut with the reduced apple cider, and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture for a cozy finish.
- Serve the donuts warm for the best taste.
Notes
For a thicker sugar coating, let the cider reduce for a bit longer.
Keep the donuts spaced out in the air fryer to allow for even cooking.
These donuts are best enjoyed fresh right out of the air fryer.
