Description

Savor the mouthwatering combination of crispy bacon and juicy little smokies in this easy recipe. Perfect for parties or a quick snack, these bacon wrapped delights are seasoned to perfection and sure to satisfy any craving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sliced bacon cut into thirds
  • 1 lb little smokies
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a large rimmed baking tray with foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, paprika, and black pepper. Set aside.
  • Wrap each little smoky with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on the prepared baking tray.
  • Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the bacon-wrapped smokies.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Flip each smoky, add the remaining brown sugar mixture, and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder to the brown sugar mixture.
Use parchment paper instead of foil for easier cleanup if desired.
These can be served warm or at room temperature.
