Hey there!
We’re Jasmine & Peter.
Welcome to Cozy Peter Pantry — where simple ingredients turn into comfort food you’ll actually
make again. This blog is our shared notebook of weeknight wins, slow Sunday favorites, and “pantry-to-table”
recipes built for real life.
Expect clear steps, cozy flavors, and smart shortcuts that never taste like shortcuts.
Our story
Cozy Peter Pantry began the way a lot of good meals do: with a nearly-empty fridge, a well-loved pantry shelf,
and the question “What can we make that feels comforting?”
We started testing small changes — a different simmer time, a better spice order, one extra squeeze of citrus —
and writing down the versions that made us pause mid-bite and say, “Okay, that’s the one.”
Over time, friends asked for those recipes. Then friends-of-friends did too. This site is our way of sharing
what we’ve learned: how to cook cozy food without needing a long shopping list or a free afternoon.

Meet Jasmine & Peter

Jasmine
Recipe writer • Tester • The “one more tweak” person
Jasmine loves recipes that feel gentle and cozy — meals that are simple to cook, but still taste like you
really did something. She’s the one who turns rough drafts into clear steps, smooth timing, and foolproof notes.
Known for: creamy soups, bright herbs, and desserts that taste nostalgic (in the best way).

Peter
Flavor chaser • Sauce builder • Crunch & sear specialist
Peter is all about the “why” — how heat changes texture, how seasoning builds in layers, and how a good sauce
can turn basic pantry staples into something you crave. If there’s a crust to perfect, he’s on it.
Known for: golden sears, quick marinades, and making simple ingredients taste bold.
Fun facts
- Our “test kitchen” is our real kitchen — so recipes are built for real timing and real dishes.
- We keep a running list called “Next time” where tiny tweaks become the final version.
- If a recipe can be prepped ahead, we’ll always include the shortcut.
- We’re happiest when the pantry is stocked and the oven is already warm.
